Why Do You Need Your PCC Now?

That is a great question. I am so glad you asked. (See what I did there?)

But seriously, if you were to ask me why you need your ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential now, I would offer the following reasons:

   The PCC credential is globally recognized and highly respected in the coaching industry. It represents a higher level of proficiency and adherence to professional coaching industry standards that greatly enhances your credibility as a coach.

   There is a growing demand for certified and highly skilled coaches. Organizations and individual clients increasingly prefer coaches with recognized IFC credentials like the PCC for their expertise and professionalism. PCC level coaches also get paid more per hour than their ACC counterparts.

I would not say that other coaches leave out our fellow ACC coaches, but I would say that we take PCC coaches with a higher level of seriousness, especially if you have been around a while.

It encourages self-reflection and growth, benefiting your clients and your own personal and professional life. You know I am a huge fan of continued personal development for coaches, and it's one of the reasons I love coaching so much. I get to keep growing.

   The coaching industry is evolving rapidly. Obtaining your PCC ensures that you stay competitive and relevant in an increasingly dynamic field. I, for one, am excited that we have grown our profession to this point, and I will do whatever it takes to continue with the industry growth.

   To qualify for PCC requires rigorous advanced training, hours in the chair and with mentor. This extensive experience enables you to deliver meaningful and impactful coaching, ensuring that your client's own personal or business development achieve their desired outcome.
